Most of the restaurants offer reasonable food at reasonable prices but this restaurant was better than the rest .
We had some wonderful courgette fritters and beautifully cooked large garlic prawns. It felt a little odd to serve with broccoli and carrots and potatoes - but perhaps because I would usually have them with fries and salad! I believe there’s a wonderful view but not so much from our table so ask for a table with a view when you book for the best experience! Nevertheless we had a lovely evening and enjoyed our dinner
We’ve had fabulous meals over the years
The only reason I’ve not given five stars for the food, my husband was looking forward to the tuna and it wasn’t available, probably because they were so busy., we noticed there were a couple of dishes removed.that sounded interesting.

We ate here twice during our stay in Skala. It didn’t disappoint on both occasions. Good food cooked well with attentive efficient staff.. good value for money, would highly recommend

Io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati bene. Ottimo cibo, prezzi nella norma e soprattutto il personale molto gentile e competente. Durante i 9 giorni di soggiorno a Skala, siamo andati a mangiare 3 volte.

Absolutely fantastic, the food was delicious and the staff were delightful.

The restaurant is idealy located for the town, yet provides beautiful views down a valley to the sea beyond. It was a very warm evening and the gentle breeze was welcoming. We choice sea bass and salmon from the menu and we're not dissapointed. The restaurant was relaxed yet busy as it is very popular.
Visited for my partners birthday, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The Food was great, the service impeccable and the setting and ambience was second to none.

We booked this restaurant in advance and wasn't disappointed, it's in a good location with a view of the sea. The food was great and staff were very friendly . The prices were very reasonable too. Would definitely go back.

The Manor House restaurant is excellent, the food is amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. The owner Zoe and her staff and very friendly and welcoming. I could recommend this restaurant and encourage people to give it a try.

This is by far our favourite restaurant in Skala. Tucked away at the top of skala near the school is the beautiful Manor House. With an elevated surrond veranda you can have a sea view whilst you have the most amazing food.
The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly and will go out of their way for you.
The choice of menu is very good ranging from Greek dishes to fish to pasta, something for everyone.
The prices are very good too!
One tip is that if there is a few of you I suggest you book as it does get booked up quickly. Well worth it
Great location, you may need to book as it does get quite busy, especially in the height of the season. Extensive menu to choose from. Good service. Would return.

I travel to Greece yearly this year we travelled to samos crete lefkada and kefalonia this restaurant has produced the best food easily a winner , the pork steak eye fillet and whole fish are the best dishes lve eaten in Greece & Australia.
Good food, reasonably priced. Lovely setting and atmosphere, pleasant friendly staff. Our favourite taverna in Skala.

We've eaten here many times over a few years / visits . Always excellent food at very reasonable prices.
If you frequent other restaurants in Skala you'll either find their " as good " but dearer or generally not as good !!
You really can't go wrong with the Manor House, good menu , good food and very reasonable prices .

Very good food would go back
Although we were late for our reservation the lady still made sure we got a table and didn’t have to wait long.
It was our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we were recommended to book here.

This was a really fabulous evening the food was the best we had during our holiday, and we had some lovely meals. We got there half an hour early no problem we’re warmly welcomed. Staff were cheerful friendly and unobtrusive. Table and view were great Highly recommended

We visited this lovely taverna three times during our two weeks stay in Skala. All of the staff are so welcoming and it really is service with a smile ! The food is superb and the atmosphere is smashing - a lovely view from the balcony too. It's a very popular taverna - you can tell by the fact that many tables are reserved in advance. Highly recommend The Manor House.

Our favourite restaurant
Located away from the crowded Skala centre, this is an excellent tavern. Dishes are delicious, prices are fair, and the stuff is extremely helpful and polite. If you are near the Skala area it worths paying a visit.
We’ve been here quite a few times now! Always a friendly welcome yummy food and lovely setting, what more could you want.

We both loved the Manor three years ago, before Covid hit. We came back in July 2022, and we were so delighted to find that the Manor had the same high standards as before, and that it was still here, given these strange times we live in! The garden is beautiful -you can see the sea, it's romantic, the staff make you so welcome and the food is delicious. Each time we chose traditional Greek food, and it was so good! And as we were ready for the bill, the girls offered us a drink on the house. It is the restaurant and it's staff which truly make you so very welcomed. We went 3 more times, and we chose our favouite place, the Manor House, as our last night before we flew home.

This restaurant was amazing 🤩.
The food was to die for. The portion size was huge and I have to admit sometimes we left some, only because we couldn’t finish, not because the food wasn’t tasty. The meat feast meze could really be for four people and not two, that’s how big it was. When you have finished your meal they also offer complimentary drinks such as Homemade limoncello, brandy and ouzo.
The waitresses are so lovely and are committed to providing a good service.They all have a smile and are all very welcoming with good knowledge of each dish on the menu.
The restaurant it’s self is set out beautifully. On our holiday we had attended this restaurant 3 nights and sat in 3 different areas of the restaurant. The attention to detail that has gone into this restaurant is outstanding.
I just need to say the toilets put a smile on my face also. They were spotless and in the ladies cubicle is decorated with glitter flowers and butterflies. I thought this was beautiful. Also there was a toiletries bag hanging on the wall with sanitary towels inside. How thoughtful is that.
I want to thank all of the staff for making our holiday a memorable one and hope to see you all again next year.
Beautiful location tasty food value for money service superb highly recommended
Went here with a family of eight, the location in the balcony was wonderful, the staff are really friendly and provided brilliant service all night, I had the kleftiko and it was nice, everyone else loved the food that they had.
Downstairs is a small play area for kids which helped keep two kids happy.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere
This restaurant really is a hidden gem, so much so we are going again this evening! It is off the main walkway in Skala and in a beautiful setting. The waitress Rosa was very attentive as were the other staff and the Moussaka was the best I have ever eaten. The prices were very good and would highly recommend this superb restaurant. Don’t hesitate to book!
Η καλύτερη επιλογή στην Σκάλα Κεφαλονιάς, στο Manor House έφαγα πρώτη φορά σουβλάκι από αρνί και μου έκανε τρομερή εντύπωση !! ότι και αν παραγγείλαμε ήταν σούπερ,και το προσωπικό πολύ γρήγορο !
