Kritsa Restaurant is located in the central square of Portaria Pelion just 12km from the city center of Volos
The menu is inspired by Greek traditional cuisine. The Mediterranean diet is the basis for the daily preparation of the dishes using high quality products from the hotel's private farm (Karaiskos Farm) and local producers.
Typical Pelion dishes from the menu are the spedzofai and the wild greens with eye eggs. Don't miss also to try the unique Pelion pies with handmade dough prepared daily at the restaurant. For those looking to try exceptional flavours, we recommend the sheep stew with rustic handmade pasta and the beef fillet with unique wine sauce. Combine them with the salad "Pelion" with the sour apple and walnut making it particularly tasty. An equally favourite dish is rooster in wine sauce or pasta with mushrooms. Food made with care and the service pays attention to the customers, too. The place has something romantic and the prices are reasonable for what thus restaurant has to offer!
After our first visit there during our holidays, we went back again.

We had diner 4 times, all times very good.
I am my team travel to Greece and the Volos are frequently (from US) and always make time for a night at Krista. Once again not disappointed. Food was excellent as usual, quaint, mountain atmosphere and outstanding price. I would recommend to anyone!

Excellent traditional Greek food with a bit of a modern twist. Great local wine really friendly stuff.
We eere disappointed with the seating arrangements as we had expected to be on the upper terrace as shown in the pictures on internet. The description of the restaurant include the word 'romantic', which it certainly was not. The food was decent but nothing extraordinary and it is incredibly difficult to park nearby. All in all, a very disappointing experience!
