We're very regular visitors of Agios Nicolaos as we have our secondary residence in the area. We've tried many restaurants and many are good. But the Gioma clearly stands out. The view is superb. If you have the opportunity to sit at the lake site, you have a magnificent view. Serivce is excellent as mostly in Crete. The food is typical Cretan but with an extra refinement (Michelin star alike) touch. We've been there many times with only our family or with many friends and never been disappointed. Always at the same high level.

Αρχικά αυτό που θέλω να πω πως είναι ένα από τα αγαπημένα εστιατόρια στον άγιο νικολαο, το αγαπημένο στέκι που απολαμβάνω τα καλοκαίρια μαζί με την μητέρα μου! Η εξυπηρέτηση εξαιρετική, Ευγενία ,θετικότητα νιώθεις σαν να είσαι στο σπίτι σου. Οι τιμές αξιόλογες, η θεα φοβερη. Το επιδόρπιο ότι καλύτερο σε συνδυασμό με την σουμάδα που έρχεται για κέρασμα. Μια μικρή και μόνο παρατήρηση όσον αφορά τα αλμυρά πιάτα, θα προτιμούσα περισσότερη ποικιλία, για την ακριβεια ίσως μια τροποποίηση στα κυρίως πιάτα να χρειαζόταν. Η γεύση όμως εξακολουθεί να ειναι στα ύψη! Αγαπάμε το εστιατόριο και θα ερχόμαστε ξανά και ξανά!!!

We went there because recommended by family. During our 7 days stay in Crete we have been there 4 times! You have to desserve it because you have to walk up the hill a bit but then you are surrounded by nice people and pampered by the team with lovely Cretan food at a completely reasonable price. If you want to make sure to get a table, best is to make a reservation - you can do that over the internet- because we were not the only ones to appreciate all of the above.
