Every part of the dining experience was perfect. I cannot emphasize enough how great the sunset view was. We ordered the grilled mixed seafood for 2, grilled fish, fried calamari,and grilled pork chop for our family of 7 and all was delicious. The bottle of wine recommended was the best of our trip also. The server was amazing and was extremely attentive to even offering warm blankets when the sun began to set. This meal was the highlight of our incredible day in Santorini.

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and wanted somewhere special without necessarily going all out fine dining. This was the perfect combination. Sunset and views were superb. Wine was great. Service attentive. Food - fantastic appetisers and one great main course, one slightly average - the souvlaki slightly overcooked. We had a beautiful evening and would recommend.

We had dinner as a family of four, two adults and two teenage kids. It was easy to make our reservation and resulted in our favourite meal in Santorini. The restaurant is on a quieter street in Fira, which immediately made it feel more relaxed, also aided by the ambient music and the feel we could enjoy our meal at whatever pace suited us. The tables were nicely spaced out. We started off with drinks, including a cocktail and mocktail, and some delicious tzatziki with warm pitta. There was a great selection on the menu. I had the seafood linguine, which was delicious. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly, and made us feel special. The view of the sunset over the caldera was perfect, and the location was not too close to the old port, so there was no lingering smell from donkeys, as we experienced in other places. The food was a little more expensive than other places we ate, but you pay for what you get and the service, ambience and quality of the food justified the price. Our only regret was that we booked this restaurant for our second to last night, which meant our last night meal elsewhere could not hope to live up to the wonderful evening we had at Aris.
Really good location with open and covered terrace. Really good mix of traditional greek and modern dishes. Excellent service. Not rushed and most of all spectacular views.
Amazing overall experience ! We went for dinner to celebrate rate my daughter’s birthday and it was astonishing ! Great food, great service, and superior view! Our table was on the table on terrace with superior view of the gulf and Fira city.

We arrived at the restaurant well before our reservation time, but were warmly welcomed with genuine hospitality. The staff quickly accommodated us, offering us a prime table with a breathtaking sunset view. The view of the sunset was perfect! Our server was very kind and personable. The food was good but more pricey than food we had found in other places but you were paying for the location for sure but worth it for the sunset.

We had a lovely meal here. I had the vegan mousakka, my partner had chicken souvlaki. His was a huge portion! The beer was reasonably priced the wine a bit over priced but I think that’s just a Santorini thing. We had a lovely view and the staff were very polite.

Aris was amazing!!!! The food was exceptional and the views were perfect! Food came out lightening fast and my waiter was the sweetest in the world! He told us he had only been serving 3 months.. I would have never known!! He knew the menu inside and out. So professional. Aris you made a lasting impression on us!!
We loved not only the ambiance here but the food was serve in time and deliciously prepared. We were delightfully served by Michel, who suggested amazing wine to us. He was friendly and helpful.

We made the reservation at Aris because of all of the great reviews. It does not disappoint.
First, the service was impeccable. We were greeted very quickly by the waiters, and he led us to our reserved table, which faces directly to the sea below, with a beautiful sunset that waives goodbye to all travelers. It is truly a scene to be seen.
The food was excellent, too. We asked for recommendations, and they do not disappoint. The waiter was very knowledgeable and honest. They do not try to scam travelers because many other restaurants here do.
Finally, the price was high but acceptable. There were many other restaurants in this town, but we were happy to choose this one. If we ever come back to Santorini, we'd visit again.

What can I say, other than you are missing out if the is not on your list of places to go. Service is phenomenal, but the views are better and the food is incredible. A true delight and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting Santorini
It was a wonderful experience to spend our time in Aris Restaurant. It is pretty conveniently located with an amazing Caldera view. The food was excellent and the staff were very kind. I tried the grilled Octopus and it was delicious. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

A place where you can enjoy delicious dinner, wine, and the cool breeze and sunset of Santorini. The grilled octopus is delicious and the staff is friendly, so you can enjoy it comfortably. The road to the restaurant is also very photogenic.
It was our first time visiting Santorini, upon booking the restaraunt is beautifully laid out; the staff are very friendly and accommodating and if you book in advance they do their upmost to get you the most beautiful view of the Caldera Sunset. Highly recommend the seafood linguine, our waiter Jhulio was an absolute gem and was keen to recommend excellent options to us in regards to both food and wine without deliberately making us go for the most expensive options. Would definitely revisit!

We visited in mid June for a sunset dinner. It was not overcrowded at all and we enjoyed a peaceful dinner with delicious dishes. The server was helpful and friendly. Such a lovely experience for my family.

Le cadre est spectaculaire, la vue, l’ambiance romantique, les plats étaient excellents et pour finir le service aux petits soins.
Le rapport qualité prix est juste idéal et parfait surtout quand on voit les prix aux alentours.
Si vous cherchez un super restaurant pour admirer le coucher de soleil tout en mangeant bien et en étant chouchouter par les serveurs : foncer.
N’oubliez pas de réserver pour ce moment d’exception.
Pour les prix nous avons pris plats, cocktails et dessert et nous avons payé 100€.
Un digestif nous a été offert, super bon.
N’allez surtout pas dans les restaurants où vous devez payer la « première ligne » quand ici vous avez tout et à prix juste !!!!

It was an unforgettable dinner at Aris, thanks to the service of Julio, a funny and adorable server. He did everything to ensure we could enjoy the most of the magic sunset on the island. All was perfect: the welcome, the setup, the food, the atmosphere, the view, the attention to small details that count, and the quick interesting chat with Julio with his funny joke. We made a reservation a couple months in advance for a cliff side table, 200 Euros. I obviously reviewed the menu prior to doing so, and it looked great. However, when we arrived, we were told we would only be allowed to order off the Degustation Menu (a 9 course pre fix menu) when sitting cliff side… I was baffled, as this was not mentioned anywhere on the reservation or the website! The menu I wanted to order off of was still pricey (162 pp) but only allowed for the Lounge seating. I asked if we could order off the other menu, we were told no. While some of the items were delicious, we had to be at the dinner for 3 hours because of all the courses, we also had to eat items we didn’t prefer and didn’t like. At the end of the day, I would not visit here again, as every restaurant in Santorini has an equally fantastic view for far less than the cost of Lycabettus. Our total before tip for 2 was 600 Euros and we just wanted to go back to our hotel as soon as possible. I will be reaching out to the restaurant directly, as it should be mentioned on the website that you must order from a specific menu. On a side note, the guests who sat next to us were allowed to order off the Lounge menu.

We were in a cruise and we were there 2-11pm. We had a 730 dinner reservation, but we arrived at the restaurant maybe 645 to see if they could take us sooner and since we were the only cruise at this time they couple accommodate us! We couldn’t wait to see the sunset that evening but unfortunately the African Haze didn’t allow us to see it. But that didn’t bother us because the views were spectacular and the food and drinks were worth every penny! Our sever was great and helped us in picking amazing meals. We bought 2 wonderful bottles of wine and had great dessert.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would go back if we ever go back to Santorini.

We so enjoyed our meal at Ari’s. It was on a tucked away much quieter spot in the city right on the rim to see the view of bay and sunset. Also close walk to the path down, or to get to the cable car. Servers are kind and accommodating, food is delicious. We will be back!

Went here for dinner with a group of 11. I made a reservation online and they were kind enough to call ahead and let me know they didn’t have one big table but could accommodate the group at 2 tables right next to each other.

Feta Auth honey drizzle and calamari appetizers, octopus, grilled fish and seafood platter was fresh and delicious. This was our highlight dinner in Santorini. And, Marcelle gave the best service!!

The view was as beat as it can be in Fyra. The atmosphere was great. The service was very friendly and always there (you only had to turn your head and someone would always come within seconds). The food was "good" for Greek stamdards, which for the rest of the world is nothing short of great. The price however was rather cheap (even for the rest of Greece and without considering that Santorini is among the most expensive islands). I would certainly recomend it and I would make it the first and thr last place to if I ever visit santorini again

We came across this restaurant 2 years ago so had to come back. Staff were friendly, food was lovely and a good price for Fira, especially with the location of the restaurant on the cliff. We had a wonderful evening and I would highly recommend it.

This was our favourite restaurant in Santorini , so we returned there for our final meal. If you want the best views of the sunset, make sure you book in advance, but when we returned without booking, we still managed to get great views.
As it is away from the main tourist thoroughfares, it is a lot quieter than many of the other restaurants - however, it is still clearly a restaurant for tourists, not locals.
All of the restaurants in the tourist areas of Santorini are expensive. Aris was better value for money than many of the others.

We had an amazing time here, the fried calamari phenomenal and we had the sea food platter for 2 person! I’ve never eaten as good seafood as I’ve had there in my life, however I’ve been to a few places! The view was amazing, better than in Oia! We spent 3 days in Santorini and we went back for a second diner 😄 we did not reserve a table but we managed to get one with an ever better view than we had the night before!
The staff is wonderful, they gave us the baklava for free and the Aperol spritz is also very good!

We enjoyed our first dinner at Aris so much we went back a second time. Both nights we had a table right on the edge overlooking the water. We watched the sunset both nights. The service was very good and we were not rushed and the food was some of the best we had while on vacation. One night we shared the seafood platter. It was enough for two and really good.
Although the restaurant is a little hard to find, we think it is worth the effort.

Aris is a wonderful restaurant with very good food, fantastic service and an unbeliebable sunset view and view on the caldera and Fira. We loved it. We always had a table in the first line. But there are only tables in first and second line. Therefore you always have a perfect view.
Our family decided to head to Aris as it was a highly rated restaurant in Santorini that was more budget friendly compared to other restaurants nearby with a similar Caldera view. The food was fairly solid as I got the Lamb Shank, but the portions are definitely on the smaller side. The view and the incredible service was unreal and was the best Caldera view our family experienced during dinner in Santorini.

Aris is a great option for dining with views of the Caldera: In this restaurant there are many options for you to have a good table on the first line of the terrace if you want to enjoy, for example, the sunset watching the Caldera while you dine. They have many tables on the first line of the terrace. So if you book in advance, you have many options to get a good table, something that surely will not happen in other much more expensive restaurants such as Esperisma or La Colline
They have very good food at moderate prices (without forgetting that we are in Santorini). They are 30-35% cheaper than Esperisma, or 40-50% cheaper than La Colline, for example.
We ordered the seafood platter for two people (one of the most expensive dishes on the menu) and a bottle of white wine. We paid 120 euros in total.
The attention is also very good, and they also advise you on the exact moment to take the photo of the sunset. Online reservations work perfectly.

Gran opción para cenar con vistas a la Caldera: En este restaurante hay muchas opciones de que tengas una buna mesa en primera línea de la terraza por si quieres disfrutar, por ejemplo de la puesta de sol viendo la Caldera mientras cenas. Tienen muchas mesas en primera línea de terraza, así que si reservas por adelantado, tienes muchas opciones de que te toque una buena mesa, Algo que seguramente no te va a pasar en otros restaurantes bastantes más caros como en el Esperisma o en La Colline
Tienen muy buena comida y con precios moderados (sin olvidarnos que estamos en Santorini). Son un 30-35% más baratos que el Esperisma, o un 40-50% más baratos que La Colline. Nosotros tomamos la mariscada para dos personas (uno de los platos más caros de la carta) y una botella de vino blanco. Pagamos 120 euros en total.
La atención además es muy buena y además te aconsejan el momento exacto para hacerte la foto de la puesta de sol. Las reservas por internet funcionan perfectamente

My wife and I had amazing meals at the beginning of our Greek Island Hopping holiday and at the end - both meals were superb. We were given fantastic tables with stunning views of the Caldera and the sunsets. Food was superb and service to match. A little expensive - but you are of course paying for the view and ambience.
Came here to celebrate my birthday while in Fira, we were given a table in the corner at the bottom which was the best table in my opinion came during sunset and it was one of the most beautiful scenes Iv seen the food was incredible and so were the staff!

The food is delicious and the view is breathtaking. It is fun to take the stairs down to the lower walkway to access the restaurant. Because it is on the lower walkway, it is much quieter. The menu is wonderful, and we particularly enjoyed the pita and dips appetizer, mussels appetizer, seafood risotto, and chocolate cake and baklava desserts. More than anything, the view of the caldera was unobstructed and unbeatable. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

We were on a nine day cruise and stopped for several hours in Santorini. We made a reservation for this restaurant about a month before arriving. The table was great, view was great, service was great. All around a wonderful experience. If you only have a few hours to spend in Santorni, spend them at a memorable and beautiful location like Aris. Definitely make a reservation! Highly recommended.

Gorgeous view with good food. We also appreciate their system that we were able to be accommodated smoothly and quickly despite having last-minute reservations.
We were on tour that was running late. I was able to call & postpone our arrival time with no issues. We were seated immediately upon arrival and the view was spectacular! Service was also excellent & food delicious. We had the octopus which was tender & had the perfect amount of char. The tomato fritters had a delicate tomato flavor, excellent. All the ingredients in the salad were fresh & tasty. Finally the mussels with feta & tomato sauce were excellent. The flavors of the mussels, sauce & cheese blended nicely. This was the highlight of our trip to Santorini. It was beautiful, peaceful & a nice break from the crowds.

The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Great customer service with beautiful views and great atmosphere. The food was delicious, wine was divine and the baklava was outstanding. Drink water with baklava very good dessert but sweet.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Santorini. The service was so welcoming and we were definitely taken care of. The setting is beautiful with a great view of the sunset. And most importantly the food was excellent.
Greatness
Outstanding menu topped only by extensive wine selection - a rarity in Greece as a whole. Several of us ordered the seafood risotto which was quite flavorful and beautifully presented. The risotto was a little different than I am accustomed to, but good nonetheless. Our wine was a wonderful Greek Sauvignon Blanc, a great suggestion and mid-ranged price. Our server was friendly, responsive, and accurate in his delivery. The background music enhanced the atmosphere, not interfered. Of course, the scenery was breathtaking from our table on the terrace. The overall experience was sublime.
My wife and I had the mixed seafood platter for 2 and it is one of the best meals we had in Santorini. To top it off we had a great view of the caldera during sunset. It is also located on a quiet street making for a relaxing romantic stroll after a great meal!

Went there for our first lunch in Santorini and really enjoyed the food and the view. Then returned on our last day for dessert. Same result. Make reservations though.
Great views & servers! 4 of the guys at our table ordered steaks as they had their fill of seafood at lunch. All said the same thing - steak was tough & chewy. One person ordered lamb which she enjoyed. I ordered seafood linguine which I liked. Definitely not stingy on the seafood. However, compared to the seafood pasta I had at Volcano Blue Restaurant, I prefer the one at Volcano Blue. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant!

This is by far our favorite restaurant for our trip. Impeccable view, amazing seafood with reasonable price. Lovely ambient and great service. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy delicious Greek food away from the tourist crowd and the best view of Santorini.

This place is stunning for a sunset dinner. The view is breathtaking and captivating. The servers, including the table host were all very friendly and accommodating to every need. The food tasted good but flavor wise it could have been a bit better in comparison to other Greek restaurants we ate at. The flavor felt like it was more Americanized that authentic flavor. That could have just been maybe our dishes. Nonetheless, still a restaurant you have to go to.
